Our Story

OLI Wellbeing pays their respects with much gratitude to the Indigenous peoples of the land and sea we live, work and play on, globally. We acknowledge Indigenous peoples ancient connection and stewardship of our planet and the ongoing systemic oppression they continue to endure.

We endeavour to walk alongside all Traditional Custodians of the land and sea with respect, reciprocity and right relations. How this looks will be different with every place and community, but we are committed to our ongoing exploration and relationships.

We also, pay our respects to the ancestors in our own bloodlines who honoured the land and seas of their own lineages in their own ways. We all come from the Earth and when we all connect back to the Earth, we then can to start to heal ourselves, the Earth, our relationships and each other.

Created by global nomad and weaver Anna Durward, Oli Wellbeing is the culmination of a career in systems transformation and operations and a life long relationship with the wellbeing of people and the planet - co-creating with diverse communities, cultural traditions and various healing modalities, globally.

At the heart of Anna’s work is a passion for weaving diverse peoples, places and ways of being, doing and knowing into a shared understanding that enables co-creative change.

Anna is particularly interested in holding space for our remembering and restoring collective health and community care.

As a white Australian woman with blood ties to England, Scotland and the Netherlands, Anna recognizes and acknowledges the complexities of practicing her work on land she visits and or was born and raised upon, but one which is not her ancestral home.

As such, Oli Wellbeing’s whole team is grounded in exploring different ways of being, doing and learning, always listening to and collaborating with Traditional Custodians in all the work they do in each place.

How this looks, and will look, in practice is an ongoing journey – one which we are all wholeheartedly committed to.

At my core, I’m guided by the call to weave worlds—and I walk this path with deep humility and purpose.”

A Letter from Anna

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter—I’m deeply grateful you’re here.

I was raised in a nomadic family, forever connected to nature, adventure, and diverse cultures. Much of my life has been spent traveling, surfing, and learning from incredible wisdom keepers and traditional healers around the globe—a true blessing and honour.

My heart, passions, and curiosity have guided me on many journeys, both inward and outward. As a weaver, healer, space holder, storyteller, systems-change co-creator, and operations enthusiast rooted in nature, I began in regenerative building and construction. I then found myself on the frontlines as a community organiser for climate and water justice, working alongside Indigenous communities worldwide. There, I witnessed how environmental, physical, and mental health challenges interweave—yet too often, people lack access to the care they need.

This inspired me to deepen my studies in Holistic Counselling, Traditional Herbalism, Buddhism, Meditation, Regenerative Leadership, and Eco-Psychology—equipping me to support collective health, healing, and resilience. Today, as a student of Public Health and Indigenous Health, I feel called to bridge worlds—within myself and across communities—to meet our shared needs. My path is a tapestry woven from ancestral memory, lived experience, and the sacred work of systems, spirit, and service.

Looking ahead, I plan to share these stories (with collaborators’ permission) through a book, an art exhibition, and a podcast. My dream is to host global gatherings where communities can rest, learn, and share wisdom together. I’m also developing an educational program to help individuals and groups remember collective healing practices and co-create systems rooted in health and care.

Having walked alongside diverse communities, I now invite you to meet them, too—and, if you feel called, to give back. Please explore the “Give Back” section on our website to learn how you can support these communities whose stories resonate with you.

This is a humble, decolonized journey—non-linear and demanding of presence and inner healing. Yet I believe that when we come together, we rise together. We are never truly separate.

I’m grateful to have met so many kindred spirits in recent years, and I look forward to collaborating on these efforts. I’ll be in touch soon with more stories and updates—please feel free to reach out with any questions.

With love and gratitude,

Anna
